Visit Half Moon Bay needed a creative refresh to differentiate the seaside California destination from other nearby coastal towns. The goal was to shift the narrative beyond its scenic beauty and highlight the emotional value of visiting. We came up with a campaign that positioned Half Moon Bay as an effortless escape where travelers can slow down, reconnect and reset.

I developed a series of headlines that juxtaposed everyday stressors with the restorative calm of Half Moon Bay, including “From deadlines to deep breaths,” “From chaos to calm,” and “Less go. More whoa.”
The Coastal Reset Campaign positions Half Moon Bay as a place where visitors can escape the hustle, inviting visitors to slow down and enjoy a calmer pace of life. The messaging paints a picture of what the destination offers, from strolling through charming downtown streets and visiting local farms to exploring the harbor and soaking in the natural beauty. By pairing visuals with impactful messaging, the campaign brought the idea of a “Coastal Reset” to life in a way that feels genuine and welcoming.
